About The Position

The Senior Director, AP Test Publishing collaborates with organizational workstreams to build and execute requirements and processes for the AP program’s evolving print exam needs. The role defines development needs and requirements for print exams aligned with the AP course and exam change roadmap, and oversees content-change alignment, planning, and execution for exam publishing and print needs with external vendors. It maintains and communicates detailed documentation and reporting across interdependent internal and external workstreams. The position leads a two-person team responsible for annual print exam production and sets team vision, priorities, goals, and a supportive, inclusive culture. It owns the enterprise Test Publishing operating model, including governance, decision rights, escalation structures, standards, quality-control architecture, workflow guardrails, and frameworks that support consistent, scalable execution as AP insources assessment production and expands its internally owned exam portfolio. The Senior Director serves as a system integrator and Tier 2 decision authority, resolving cross-portfolio tradeoffs and escalations. The role is accountable for sustained delivery of internally owned AP print, accommodated, and Braille publishing commitments, portfolio readiness, vendor governance and performance, and quality-control accountability.
