About The Position

Zen Educate is seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Analyst (Growth) to own and scale their paid lead generation engine in the U.S. The role is based in Vancouver and offers a hybrid work model. The company is experiencing rapid growth (3x YoY) and is focused on a mission to empower schools and teachers. The marketing team is small but established, and the company is already generating a significant number of teacher leads per month. This position is ideal for someone who is data-driven but also possesses the creativity and intuition to interpret data effectively. The company is addressing a critical problem in education by connecting the right teachers with the right schools, having already saved schools over $50 million since 2017.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, or campaign management.
  • Comfortable with data and able to use intuition when necessary.
  • Ability to move fast, prioritize effectively, and take ownership proactively.
  • Clear communication skills for interacting with teammates, leadership, and others.
  • Curiosity and a drive to continuously test and improve.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, or job board platforms.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, SQL, or data visualization tools.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Own paid campaigns & performance
  • Plan, execute, and continuously optimise paid lead generation campaigns, primarily job boards, with expanding scope into Google Ads and Meta.
  • Develop expertise in optimizing job boards beyond simple bidding, combining analytical rigor with practical craft.
  • Test creatives, targeting, and strategies constantly to identify and scale successful approaches.
  • Turn data into decisions by digging into campaign data to derive actionable insights.
  • Run structured A/B tests to improve conversion rates and reduce acquisition costs.
  • Utilize good judgment to fill gaps when data is insufficient.
  • Identify new growth opportunities, including new channels, tactics, and angles.
  • Contribute to budget planning, forecasting, and broader marketing strategy.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Product teams to align campaigns with business needs.
  • Provide clear and honest performance updates to senior leadership.
  • Share learnings and collaborate with another analyst on the team to improve overall performance.
