About The Position

The Senior Analyst for Digital Marketing Analytics works closely with Marketing, Media, and e-commerce teams to measure campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities, and support the scaling of high-performing digital marketing initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of digital media, marketing channels, customer behaviour, campaign measurement, and analytics. The ideal candidate is highly analytical and can recommend actionable insights based on data to improve media efficiency and support full funnel strategies. Core deliverables include regular campaign analysis; building reporting dashboards; supporting test design; and conducting quarterly business reviews and deep-dive analyses.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, media performance, and campaign measurement
  • Experience in analyzing media channels such as paid search, paid social, display, video, programmatic, email, affiliate, or owned digital channels.
  • Strong ability to identify campaign improvement opportunities and recommend actions to optimize spend, targeting, creative, channel and funnel mix, and audience strategy.
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex analysis into clear business recommendations.
  • Pragmatic approach to data analysis to insights generation with proven ability to deliver actionable insights that influence marketing strategy and campaign execution.
  • Strong experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Experience in building dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau and Looker
  • Understanding of marketing KPIs such as impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, CPM, CPA, ROAS, conversion rate, revenue, etc.
  • High level of attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with general guidance.
  • Team player with high energy, curiosity, and demonstrated initiative.
  • University degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Marketing, Business Intelligence or related field.
  • 4+ Years of experience in Database marketing and/or business intelligence role (preferably in a retail environment or media)
  • 3+ years of experience using tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Looker

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Python, R, or other statistical tools for advanced analytics is an asset.
  • Experience in with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics is an asset.
  • Familiarity with media platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, DV360, TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, or other digital advertising platforms is an asset.
  • Experience with campaign measurement approaches such as pre/post analysis, incrementality testing, A/B testing, audience testing, attribution, or marketing mix modeling is an asset.
  • Media, Retail, or e-Commerce experience is an asset
  • Stakeholder management is an asset
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, or cloud/data platforms are considered assets
  • Working knowledge and experience with BigQuery
  • Familiarity with any cloud platform
  • Familiarity with dashboarding tools such as Tableau or Looker
  • Familiarity with Big Data Architectures (tools and applications)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular digital marketing and media performance analysis to identify opportunities for campaign improvement, optimization, and scale
  • Analyze campaign performance across channels (e.g., paid search, paid social, display, video, DOOH, owned channels, etc.)
  • Partner with Marketing and Media teams to understand campaign objectives, define KPIs, and develop measurement plans
  • Identify opportunities to improve media efficiency, including audience targeting, budget allocation, creative performance, channel and funnel mix, and campaign timing
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards as needed by business stakeholders
  • Create and analyze audience segments for campaign targeting and reporting
  • Translate campaign results and customer insights into clear, actionable business recommendations
  • Analyze test-and-learn initiatives, including A/B tests, holdout tests, geo-tests, and audience tests where applicable
  • Support analytics strategy in developing and improving measurement frameworks, reporting standards, and anomaly detection
  • Communicate findings clearly through presentations, dashboards, summaries, and executive-ready recommendations
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for analysis, data and information on a regular basis.
  • Responsible for sourcing, cleaning, summarizing, and analyzing data from multiple data sources

  • The pay range for this position is between $62,200.00 - $70,100.00
