AHU Technologies Inc•Washington, DC
•$88 - $93•Onsite

About The Position

The client seeks a hands-on Senior Developer to build, release, and operate STAAND (Stronger Together Against Abuse and Neglect in DC), the District’s federally certified Comprehensive system. STAAND is built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform in a Government Community Cloud (GCC) tenant, with Azure services operating in Microsoft’s commercial cloud. This is a working lead role, with daily coding and ownership of CI/CD, Power Platform ALM, code quality, production support, releases, and direct collaboration with staff and community partners to ensure delivery meets operational needs. The position is listed as a contract engagement (W-2, 1099, or C2C), based onsite in Washington, DC, with flexible work-from-home options available. The Senior Developer designs and implements complex Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform, portal, and Azure functionality; maintains integrations across cloud boundaries; optimizes performance; and builds automated tests. The role owns Azure DevOps pipelines and end-to-end solution deployment across development, test, UAT, training, and production environments. It also serves as primary pull-request reviewer and merge authority, enforces engineering and security standards, and mentors staff and contract developers. The role owns production defect triage and resolution, monitoring and observability, release hypercare, incident escalation as required, capacity and cost monitoring, disaster recovery procedures, and support documentation. It also works directly with social workers, supervisors, agency partners, resource development specialists, and fiscal staff to refine requirements, support UAT, demonstrate completed work, and coordinate training and change communications.
