Senior Power Platform Developer
About The Position
SAIC is seeking a Power Platform Developer with an active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility to provide advanced technical solutions and strategic support for the DoW CIO PNT Directorate. The role focuses on process optimization, scalable knowledge management, and organizational efficiency through Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse, and SharePoint solutions. The successful candidate will design, build, configure, and maintain custom applications, workflows, and enterprise-grade process automation. The role includes leading full-stack development, configuring system architecture, integrating platforms and data, and using Power FX, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and DAX to deliver tailored functionality. The developer will also optimize business processes, implement role-based access controls, environment security, and data loss prevention policies, and enhance IT service delivery. The position includes maintaining existing solutions, troubleshooting defects, preparing end-user training documentation, and developing business intelligence dashboards. The developer will work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to modernize processes and support digital transformation. The position is located at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, and requires full-time on-site work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 9 years of experience, master's degree and at least 7 years of experience, or PhD/JD and at least 4 years of experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required to maintain employment; U.S. citizenship required.
- At least 2 years of specialized experience in cloud application architecture, business process automation, data architecture, or data modeling.
- Advanced knowledge of Dataverse, SQL, Power FX, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and DAX.
- Proven expertise in Power Platform, SharePoint, Azure, SSIS, Power BI, Tableau, and InfoPath.
- Strong skills in process automation, knowledge management, and delivering integrated IT solutions across SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Dataverse, and Azure.
- Ability to analyze and improve business processes, optimize performance, and deliver scalable IT solutions.
- Must work full-time on-site at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.

- Experience with Bootstrap, JavaScript, and Python.
- Experience supporting the Department of Defense or other government agencies.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and maintain knowledge-management and process-automation solutions using SharePoint, Dataverse, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and related technologies.
- Use Power FX, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS to build and maintain custom formulas and complex workflows across Power Platform, SharePoint, and Dataverse.
- Architect, develop, and implement enterprise-grade SharePoint sites, workflows, and solutions aligned with stakeholder needs.
- Develop end-to-end Power Platform solutions for high-volume, real-time processing scenarios.
- Provide architecture design, system configuration, development, and functional support for Power Platform and Dynamics 365 projects.
- Evaluate business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend short- and long-term process automation strategies.
- Apply process-improvement methodologies to optimize internal processes and IT service delivery within OUSW(R&E).
- Integrate SharePoint, Power Platform, and existing technologies to improve scalability and organizational efficiency.
- Use Power BI to create data visualizations that support informed decision-making.
- Migrate legacy data-management tools to Dataverse to support large volumes of data.
- Provide SME-level technical support in SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform environments, identifying and resolving issues.
- Use programming and scripting languages, including Power FX, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and DAX, to deliver technical solutions.
- Facilitate training sessions and collaborative workshops to support adoption and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver process-modernization initiatives aligned with agency objectives.
- Administer and maintain knowledge-management solutions, ensuring scalability and continuous improvement.
- Maintain existing solutions, troubleshoot defects, and create training documentation for end users.
- Develop and update business intelligence dashboards.
