Senior Power Platform Developer
About The Position
SAIC is seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to provide advanced technical solutions and strategic support for the DoW CIO PNT Directorate. The role focuses on process optimization, scalable knowledge management, and organizational efficiency through Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse, SharePoint, and related technologies. The developer designs and maintains custom workflows, applications, and enterprise-grade process automation solutions; leads full-stack development; configures system architecture; and supports integrations and tailored functionality. The position is located at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, and requires full-time on-site work. The role requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and U.S. citizenship.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 9 years of experience, master's degree and at least 7 years of experience, or PhD/JD and at least 4 years of experience.
- At least 2 years of specialized experience in cloud application architecture, business process automation, data architecture, or data modeling.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; TS/SCI clearance is required to maintain employment.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Advanced knowledge of Dataverse, SQL, Power FX, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and DAX.
- Proven expertise in Power Platform, SharePoint, Azure, SSIS, Power BI, Tableau, and InfoPath.
- Exceptional skills in process automation, knowledge management, and delivering integrated IT solutions across SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Dataverse, and Azure.
- Ability to analyze and improve business processes, optimize performance, and deliver scalable IT solutions.
- Ability to work full-time on-site at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.

- Experience supporting the Department of Defense or other government agencies.

Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and maintain advanced knowledge management and process automation solutions using SharePoint, Dataverse, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and related technologies.
- Build and maintain custom formulas and complex workflows using Power FX, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
- Architect, develop, and implement enterprise-grade SharePoint sites, workflows, and solutions aligned with stakeholder needs.
- Develop end-to-end Power Platform solutions for high-volume, real-time processing scenarios.
- Provide architecture design, system configuration, development, and functional support for Power Platform and Dynamics 365 projects.
- Evaluate business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend short- and long-term automation strategies.
- Apply process improvement methodologies to optimize internal processes and improve IT service delivery effectiveness within OUSW(R&E).
- Integrate SharePoint, Power Platform, and existing technologies to support scalability and organizational efficiency.
- Use Power BI to develop data visualizations that support informed decision-making.
- Migrate legacy data management tools to Dataverse to support large volumes of data.
- Provide subject-matter-expert technical support in SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform environments, identifying and resolving issues.
- Use programming and scripting languages including Power FX, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and DAX to develop solutions.
- Facilitate training sessions and collaborative workshops to support solution adoption and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver process modernization initiatives aligned with agency objectives.
- Administer and maintain knowledge management solutions, ensuring scalability and continuous improvement.
- Maintain existing solutions, troubleshoot defects, and create end-user training documentation.
- Develop and update business intelligence dashboards.
