About The Position

The Senior Designer serves as a design-systems and visual-identity specialist, mentoring others and addressing complex technical and conceptual problems. The role independently architects comprehensive brand languages and scalable design frameworks, interprets business challenges, and recommends practices that improve operational scalability. The Senior Designer develops scalable design systems and templates, improves creative workflows through automation and advanced tools, and leads design reviews with senior stakeholders. The role also serves as the subject-matter expert for internal discovery and external vendor production, establishes visual-hierarchy standards, and mentors junior and mid-level designers in design craft, technical execution, and systems thinking.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in professional design or creative services.
Specialized depth of expertise in modular design and scalable systems.
Sophisticated analytical thinking to solve systemic production issues.
Negotiation skills to influence others to adopt a different technical point of view.
High-level proficiency in emerging design technologies and workflow automation.
Ability to lead large-scale technical projects.

Responsibilities

Architect and direct the development of scalable, modular design systems and master templates for long-term cross-functional scalability.
Audit creative workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement file automation and sophisticated toolsets to improve departmental efficiency.
Lead design reviews with senior stakeholders to build consensus on systematic design approaches and project feasibility.
Serve as the primary subject-matter expert for internal discovery and external vendor production, ensuring deliverables meet technical and systemic standards.
Establish and enforce departmental visual-hierarchy standards through peer reviews and technical audits.
Mentor junior and mid-level designers in design craft, technical execution, and system-level thinking, providing hands-on guidance on complex conceptual problems.
