About The Position

Adyen is hiring a Senior Credit Operations Analyst, Collections & Recovery, for its Credit Risk Operations team in Chicago. The team owns global arrears and collections for Adyen’s financial products and works across Credit Risk, Product, Finance, Legal, and second-line Risk and Compliance. The role will independently manage a portfolio of US merchants in arrears across cash advances, capital loans, charge cards, overdrafts, and hardware financing, taking cases from initial outreach through repayment plans, recovery, or escalation. The analyst will work within agreed playbooks and approval limits, escalating exceptions such as settlements, write-offs, and legal action to senior colleagues. Alongside managing accounts, the role contributes to building scalable, compliant, and increasingly automated collections processes, tooling, and workflows. The position is hybrid in Chicago, with three in-office days per week. Adyen aims to respond to applications within five business days; its interview process typically takes about four weeks, though timing may vary. Adyen is an equal opportunity employer and provides the opportunity to request accommodations during recruitment. The annual base salary range is $100,000–$130,000.
