About The Position

Avenue, a rapidly growing freight brokerage, is seeking a high-energy Senior Corporate Recruiter to build and lead their talent acquisition strategy. This role involves working directly with the executive team to attract top sales professionals and build a recruiting team from scratch. The ideal candidate will have experience in fast-paced environments and a passion for connecting driven individuals with opportunities in the logistics industry.

Requirements

2–5 years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Experience in 3PL, freight brokerage, or high-volume sales recruiting is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree required.
A fierce sense of urgency and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Exceptional communication skills.
Flexibility to pivot quickly, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving needs.
Highly collaborative work style.

Responsibilities

Construct a high-performing recruiting team from the ground up to fuel Avenue’s aggressive growth in the highly competitive 3PL space.
Cultivate deep relationships with university career services, student groups, and academic leaders to build a pipeline of early-career talent.
Design innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract relentless sales professionals.
Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, social media, and network to uncover and engage active and passive candidates.
Promote the Avenue brand across all touchpoints and lead recruitment events.
Partner with the HR team on New Hire Orientation and other strategic initiatives to ensure a world-class candidate experience.
