About The Position

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant in Jersey City, New Jersey, within Package and Technology Enablement. The role drives the development of cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and systems development life cycle work. It participates in comprehensive network transformation projects and helps optimize existing infrastructure, enabling the end-to-end transition from on-premise systems to cloud through design and development.

The position covers the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, defect and change-request triage, escalations, and urgent issues. It assesses existing information systems, identifies gaps between business requirements and current capabilities, and estimates development time and resources. It also turns detailed requirements into systems design documents and supports interface specifications and call flows. National travel of 50% is required; telecommuting is permitted.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• At least 2 years of experience using Salesforce Data Loader for data cleansing, data conversions, interface design, and interface development.
• At least 2 years of experience performing SDLC activities using Jira, Octane, Apex Code, Apex Triggers, Java, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• At least 2 years of experience using Java and Apex Data Loader to design and develop data conversion strategies and facilitate mapping and cleansing workshops.
• At least 2 years of experience converting legacy data according to current system data structures using data warehouse concepts, MuleSoft, Apex Data Loader, and Salesforce Best Practices.
• At least 2 years of experience creating technical and functional specifications using Figma and Lucidchart.
• At least 2 years of experience designing and deploying end-to-end cloud infrastructure using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• At least 2 years of experience defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing requirements, and designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing cloud solutions using Salesforce, Jira, Lucidchart, Apex Triggers, and Lightning Web Component (LWC) Visual Studio Code (VS Code).
• At least 2 years of experience deploying custom-developed applications using Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Lightning Development, Salesforce Configure Price Quote (CPQ), and Salesforce Best Practices.

• Convert legacy data to fit current system data structures using data warehouse concepts.
• Create technical and functional specifications, such as screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudocode.
• Design and deploy end-to-end cloud infrastructure.
• Define systems strategy and support procedures, develop systems requirements, and design, prototype, test, train, and implement cloud technology solutions.
• Deploy custom-developed applications, including code development and review, unit and performance testing, configuration, defect management, production deployment, and training.
