About The Position

The Senior Consultant is a construction expert who investigates construction concerns and defects, evaluates active or completed construction projects, and provides recommendations. The role supports litigation and insurance claims through detailed reporting, defensible opinions, and expert witness testimony. It involves on-site investigations, review of contracts and legal documents, collaboration with clients and legal teams, and management of multiple investigations in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or General Contractor (GC) license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously.
• Commitment to supporting the growth and development of the business.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of construction concerns and problems, including active or completed projects.
• Perform on-site investigations and review contracts and legal documents.
• Meticulously report investigation findings.
• Provide expert witness testimony in legal disputes and insurance claims.
• Develop and present clear, concise, and defensible opinions regarding construction defects.
• Collaborate with clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices, building codes, and relevant regulations.
• Manage multiple investigations simultaneously.
• Support the growth and development of the business.
