About The Position

The Senior Consultant is a construction defect consulting role focused on investigating construction concerns and defects, evaluating active and completed projects, and developing recommendations. The consultant supports litigation and insurance claims through detailed reporting and expert witness testimony. The role involves working with clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders in a fast-paced environment while helping support business growth.

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or General Contractor (GC) license.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously.
• Commitment to supporting the growth and development of the business.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of construction concerns and problems, including active or completed construction projects.
• Perform on-site investigations, review contracts and legal documents, and report findings.
• Provide expert witness testimony in legal disputes and insurance claims.
• Develop and present clear, concise, and defensible opinions regarding construction defects.
• Collaborate with clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices, building codes, and relevant regulations.
• Support the growth and development of the business.
• Manage multiple investigations simultaneously.
