About The Position

The company is looking for a (Senior) Consultant SAP Customer Service & CRM who is passionate about the energy industry (Utilities) and wants to be involved in the digital transformation of the sector by building solutions directly in the system. The role requires deep experience in SAP development and a desire to elevate complex customer management landscapes architecturally and technically. Natuvion, a Special Expertise Partner of SAP, has core competencies in the energy industry, combining process knowledge with technological understanding, especially with SAP S/4HANA Utilities. The company offers Natuvion Add-ons that enhance SAP for Utilities solutions. The current market trend involves transforming classic SAP CRM and IS-U systems towards S/4HANA and modern Customer Engagement Platforms like SAP CX (Sales & Service Cloud). This role focuses on hands-on technical implementation, architecture, and development within the SAP system.

Requirements

  • Completed studies (e.g., (Business) Informatics, Economics) or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in SAP development, ideally with direct relevance to energy industry (Utilities) processes. Consulting experience is not a mandatory prerequisite.
  • Proficient, practical knowledge in ABAP, extensive experience in customizing, and developing SAP Web UI components (BOL/GENIL). Familiarity with OData services.
  • Good knowledge of classic SAP CRM systems and understanding of older architectures (ideally with Interaction Center and customer service processes).
  • Ideally, initial exposure to S/4HANA transformation projects or modern data models (like CDS-Views), or a strong desire to learn them.
  • A 'consultant gene', high willingness to perform, and organizational talent. Resilience and solution-orientation under stress.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to develop creative solutions, and experience in structured work within project contexts.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in German and English for customer and project team interactions.

  • Architectural experience in CX solutions (including Sales & Service Cloud).

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on SAP development: Develop smart solutions in the SAP environment using ABAP / ABAP OO and adapt SAP Web UI components (BOL/GENIL).
  • System Transformation & Architecture: Implement complex migration and transformation requirements for customer service, e.g., from classic SAP CRM to SAP CX (including Sales & Service Cloud), and integrate existing systems into new customer engagement architectures.
  • Customizing & Data Modeling: Independently handle customizing in the SAP Customer Engagement environment and work routinely with CDS-Views.
  • Troubleshooting & Optimization: Analyze errors in detail during release and implementation phases, perform debugging, and fix deviations directly in the client's system.
  • Responsibility & Leadership: Take on the role of Stream Lead or sub-project manager, keeping an eye on the solution and budget, and mentor colleagues in their professional development.
