About The Position

Accenture Construct is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to deliver complex projects such as data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories, and public infrastructure. This role involves managing the entire program lifecycle, from strategy through construction and handover, utilizing AI and working with a global team. The position emphasizes building what's next and requires a proactive approach to project delivery.

Requirements

12+ years of experience in progressively complex engineering or architectural positions.
Demonstrated experience with projects that include complex program criteria such as academic research facilities, BSL Labs, emerging science and engineering buildings, medical facilities, or projects of a similar nature.
Hold a valid state driver’s license.
Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture.

Nice To Haves

Registered Architect or Licensed Professional Engineer (in any state) required; have the ability to transfer an out-of-state registration as an Architect or Professional Engineer to the Commonwealth of Virginia within one year.
Significant experience in lieu of the required licensure.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact with unit representatives throughout the duration of the project.
Manage the work efforts of external organizations such as A/E firms, general contractors, and construction managers.
Coordinate the work efforts of institutional organizations (interior design, IT, safety, etc.) to ensure program objectives, standards, regulatory requirements, schedule, and budget are met.
Coordinate with and manage submissions to Mason’s Office of University Building Official and the State Fire Marshall’s Office for regulatory compliance.
Direct activities of other facilities members of the project team and contracted consultants.
