About The Position

Freddie Mac is seeking a strategic HR professional to join their Compensation team. The Senior Compensation Advisor will play a key role in consulting with stakeholders, leading high-impact projects, and supporting recognition and compensation initiatives. This role is crucial for driving competitive pay strategies, supporting organizational success, and attracting and retaining top talent. The Compensation team partners with business leaders and HR to develop and implement competitive, innovative, and market-driven compensation programs. They consult on pay strategies that support Freddie Mac’s mission, drive employee engagement, and ensure rewards remain market-leading. The team leverages expertise in Workday to create analytical reports, test and implement program enhancements, and configure and deliver the annual merit and incentive payout cycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5–7 years of compensation experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demanding projects
  • Proficiency in compensation administration using HR information systems (e.g., Workday)
  • Candidate will be expected to demonstrate Excel skills during the hiring process.

  • Strengthen compensation programs by ensuring timely and accurate compensation planning, market data analysis, and survey submissions, helping maintain Freddie Mac’s competitive position in the market.
  • Leverage advanced expertise in Workday to create analytical reports, test and implement program enhancements, and configure and deliver the annual merit and incentive payout cycle.
