Senior Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist
About The Position
Wells Fargo is hiring a Senior Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist in the Commercial Banking Operations Division. The role leads servicing activities for moderately complex commercial products, helping ensure customer resolution, compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements, and effective operational processes. It works across Sales, Legal, Control and Risk, Technology, Operations, and other company teams, and may lead projects or teams, mentor lower-level staff, and contribute to strategic initiatives. The position follows a hybrid work schedule and is located in Irving, Texas. It is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The role independently resolves moderately complex issues and supports operations across multiple business groups. It evaluates risks, recommends mitigations and process changes, monitors quality and performance, and contributes to project planning, policies, procedures, and cross-functional programs. Candidates need at least four years of commercial loan servicing experience or equivalent, as well as experience supporting business execution, implementation, or strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of Commercial Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Experience supporting business execution, implementation, or strategic initiatives.
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years of financial services experience.
- Ability to lead or participate in developing documentation or document-publishing strategy, policy, and guidelines.
- Enterprise complaints experience.
- Controls management experience, including implementation of governance documents.
- Ability to establish web publication guidelines, conduct procedure audits and certifications, or manage procedure timelines and pipelines.
- Skill in reviewing and editing material authored by others.
- Ability to design and develop technical project artifacts, manuals, technical presentations, technical training materials, and complex web content.
- Ability to complete quality control assessments of team work.
- Ability to recommend and document business procedures and best practices, identify process gaps, and offer alternatives.
- Experience serving as a team lead or escalation point.
- Ability to collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- Ability to partner with clients to review audiences and develop strategies for technical documentation needs.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and upload data into systems of record to ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a primary liaison and collaborate with Sales, Legal, Control and Risk, Technology, Operations, and other company teams.
- Review and evaluate risks, devise mitigation strategies, and identify procedural modifications.
- Lead servicing activities for moderately complex commercial products and coordinate them to achieve customer resolution.
- Conduct quality reviews and monitor key performance metrics related to process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify team activities to ensure conformity with established procedures.
- Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- Lead projects or teams, mentor lower-level staff, and contribute to strategic initiatives as needed.
- Independently resolve moderately complex issues and lead the team in meeting deliverables while applying knowledge of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large-scale strategic initiatives.
- Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives using analytical skills and knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution.
- Make recommendations for support functions while providing support and leadership.
- Collaborate with team leaders to develop project plans, policies, and procedures.
- Manage relationships and support the implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross-functional business partners.
