About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Commercial Lending Servicing Specialist to join the Loan Trade Support team within the Corporate Investment Banking Lending Operations (CIBLO) division. The role supports syndicated loan trading and servicing by facilitating trade settlements, reviewing and validating loan trade assignments, researching and reconciling transaction activity, and ensuring accurate processing across applicable lending systems. The position partners with Loan Trading, Agency Servicing, Member Servicing, and other internal stakeholders to support timely trade execution, accurate money movement, and effective risk and control management. The role also includes analyzing transaction exceptions, performing quality-control or approval activities where applicable, supporting operational risk management, and contributing to process improvement, automation, and procedure development. The specialist provides guidance and subject matter support to less experienced team members and assists with training on loan trade support processes.

Requirements

4+ years of Commercial Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education.
Ability to work in the office at the posted location for a minimum of three days per week.
Ability to work from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

Support daily syndicated loan trade settlement activities and operational processing for loan trading transactions.
Review and validate trade assignments, transaction amounts, counterparty information, and supporting documentation before execution.
Research, reconcile, and resolve exceptions related to loan trade activity and associated servicing transactions.
Process or support principal, interest, settlement, and other money movement activities associated with syndicated loan positions.
Maintain accurate transaction and position information in applicable lending systems and process activity in accordance with established procedures and controls.
Partner with Loan Trading, Agency Servicing, Member Servicing, and other internal stakeholders to resolve trade settlement discrepancies and operational issues.
Analyze moderately complex transaction exceptions, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate resolutions.
Perform quality-control or approval activities for loan trade transactions, as applicable.
Identify discrepancies, escalate issues, and ensure appropriate documentation and control execution to support operational risk management.
Participate in process improvement, automation, procedure development, and initiatives to improve trade settlement and servicing efficiency.
Provide guidance and subject matter support to less experienced team members and assist with training on loan trade support processes.
