About The Position

BDC is seeking a growth-minded Senior Commercial Account Manager, Mid-Market, with experience serving sophisticated commercial clients and owner-managed businesses. The role partners with entrepreneurs, shareholders, and senior executives to provide customized financing and advisory solutions for strategic growth initiatives. The portfolio typically includes businesses with annual revenues of $10 million to $50 million, including organizations with holding companies, multiple operating entities, complex ownership structures, and evolving financing requirements. This is a seasoned commercial banking role—not an entry-level or small-business banking opportunity. The successful candidate will manage and grow a portfolio of commercial and mid-market clients, develop new business in the local market, assess credit risk, structure financing, and work with internal partners to deliver integrated solutions. The position contributes to the growth of Canadian entrepreneurs while maintaining sound risk management practices.
