About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a passionate, motivated, and innovative Senior Clinical Talent Acquisition Partner to join our recruiting team. This position will support recruiting for our Specialty Clinicans nationwide. In this role, you'll independently manage full-cycle recruiting, build strong partnerships and maintain a pipeline of talent that fuels hospital growth. You’ll be the bridge between passionate professionals and meaningful careers in veterinary medicine. An ideal recruiter will come with strategic initiatives around DVM Specialty recruitment. This is a hybrid position with opportunity to sit in any of our four offices: Tampa, Florida; New York, New York; Vancouver, Washington; Los Angeles, California.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field—or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of recruiting, full-cycle experience, preferably in a high-volume or healthcare setting.
  • Experience with Workday ATS & Phenom CRM strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a remote, independent work environment.
  • A passion for pets and people—bonus if you’ve worked in the veterinary or healthcare field!

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leadership to identify workforce planning strategies and talent needs for the assigned region or specialty.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, interviewing teams, and senior leadership on hiring initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers and P&O Business Partners to understand current and future hiring needs.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing to final stage negotiations and hiring, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Proactively source candidates through referrals, networking, innovative research tactics, and databases.
  • Attend conferences to build a talent pipeline and establish relationships with universities for future talent needs.
  • Provide consultation on recruitment strategies, ensuring alignment on role specifications and hiring best practices.
  • Train hiring managers and newly acquired hospitals on the recruiting process.
  • Maintain confidentiality and screen applicants, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.
  • Coordinate interviews and travel arrangements as necessary.
  • Conduct reference and background checks, advising managers on recruiting policies and procedures.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor other recruiters and hiring managers.
  • Drive continuous improvement using recruitment analytics and scorecards.
  • Engage in detailed discussions with candidates about compensation, leveraging strong negotiation skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of negotiation outcomes, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Discuss clinical specialties and advanced veterinary procedures with DVM/VMD candidates, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the field.
