About The Position

Palmetto is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner or Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, depending on experience, to lead end-to-end hiring for priority business segments. This role requires strong ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to manage complex searches with minimal direction while partnering with hiring leaders. In addition to full-cycle recruiting, the position involves building and maintaining a strong local talent pipeline and increasing Palmetto’s visibility in the Charlotte market. This includes partnering with local universities, trade schools, community organizations, and professional networks to expand sourcing reach and deepen regional connections. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for a self-directed, resourceful Talent Acquisition Partner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building long-term talent pipelines and delivering a best-in-class hiring experience.

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, preferably in high growth or mission-driven companies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; seen as a trusted partner and advisor.
  • Proficiency in sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, recruiting analytics, and process optimization.
  • Highly adaptable and comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Strong sense of ownership; takes initiative and follows through with limited direction.
  • Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally to drive alignment and outcomes.
  • Data-driven and analytical; uses metrics to inform recruiting strategy and measure success.
  • Creative and resourceful; able to think outside the box and approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms, such as Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ or similar tools.
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Manages full cycle recruiting in key business segments with minimal direction.
  • Builds strong, consultative relationships with stakeholders to align hiring plans with team goals, success profiles, and long-term needs.
  • Develops and executes creative sourcing strategies to proactively build diverse, high-quality pipelines.
  • Uses recruiting data to inform decisions, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement in speed, quality, and process.
  • Ensures a consistent, high-quality candidate and manager experience while balancing urgency with long-term hiring outcomes.
  • Takes full ownership of the recruiting process, proactively surfacing roadblocks, offering solutions, and driving alignment across teams.
  • Creates and promotes a thoughtful, inclusive, and engaging candidate experience from initial outreach to offer and onboarding.
  • Negotiates and extends offers to candidates, ensuring alignment with both company goals and market expectations.
  • Leverages compensation benchmarks and talent market insights to inform competitive hiring strategies and drive offer acceptance rates.
  • Other duties as assigned.
