About The Position

Open Arms Solutions is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide personalized in-home care for seniors in Oak Brook and nearby DuPage County communities. The role supports clients living with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, helping them maintain comfort, dignity, safety, and familiar daily routines. Caregivers are expected to be available for weekday daytime shifts at least three days per week. Assignments are ongoing and depend on client needs and caregiver availability. Requirements

At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
Previous experience caring for clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
Experience in home care, senior care, assisted living, or a similar setting, including CNA, HHA, or DSP experience.
Patience, reliability, and the ability to provide calm, respectful care.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Smartphone for communication and care-related documentation.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to complete required background screenings.
Availability for weekday daytime shifts at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other daily activities.
Provide patient, compassionate support to clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
Encourage familiar routines, engagement, and companionship.
Prepare meals and assist with hydration.
Provide medication reminders.
Help with mobility and maintain a safe home environment.
Assist with light housekeeping and laundry related to client care.
Observe and report changes in a client’s condition or behavior.
