About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to help seniors remain comfortable, safe, and independent in their own homes. Caregivers provide one-on-one client care in clients’ homes and follow individualized care plans. Opportunities are primarily weekday daytime shifts, with schedules depending on client needs and caregiver availability. The role offers flexible full-time and part-time scheduling, initial and ongoing training, a supportive office team, travel reimbursement, performance incentives, and career growth opportunities. Compensation is $17–$19 per hour.

Requirements

• Professional caregiving experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must have smartphone and email access.

Nice To Haves

• CNA or HHA certification; experienced caregivers with or without certification are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Offer companionship to clients.
• Prepare meals.
• Provide transportation and assist with shopping and errands.
• Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Follow individualized care plans.
• Communicate professionally with families and office staff.
