About The Position

Open Arms Solutions is seeking experienced, reliable caregivers for PRN (as-needed) home care assignments in Oak Brook and throughout DuPage County. Scheduling is flexible and depends on caregiver availability, client needs, location, and scheduling requirements. PRN work does not guarantee a set number of hours or weekly shifts. Assignments may include part-time shifts, overnight care, live-in work, and short-term or temporary coverage.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have at least 1 year of professional caregiving experience in home care, as a CNA, HHA, DSP, or in assisted living, a nursing home, or a similar setting.
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be able to complete required background screenings.
• Be dependable and professional, and comfortable working independently in clients’ homes.

Responsibilities

• Help clients remain safe and comfortable in their homes.
• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and daily activities.
• Prepare meals and provide hydration reminders.
• Offer companionship and social interaction.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition.
