About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring caregivers to provide home care to seniors in Adams County, Pennsylvania. The organization emphasizes reliable, high-quality care and a supportive environment for caregivers, with flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work with one or two consistent clients. The position offers flexible shifts, including 2-hour, 8-hour, and 10-or-more-hour shifts, on weekdays or weekends. Live-in work may also be available with a separate pay range. Full-time and part-time hours are offered.

Requirements

At least 6 months of hands-on personal care experience.
At least 6 months of bathing and toileting experience.
Family caregiving experience is accepted.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and car insurance.
Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Run errands for clients.
Perform light housekeeping.
Transport clients.
Provide personal care.
Prepare meals.

Benefits

$17.00–$17.50 per hour, based on experience and shift.
$5 gas supplement for every shift worked.
$0.50 per hour attendance incentive.
Mileage reimbursement at the national rate when providing transportation for a client.
