About The Position
Visiting Angels of Chadds Ford is seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers to service clients in and around the Lansdowne area, covering Delaware and Chester County. This role involves providing non-medical home care services to seniors, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Requirements
- Driver’s license, and reliable personal transportation
- Completed or ability to complete a 2-Step PPD or chest x-ray
- Clear background checks, and drug screening
- At least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience, working with seniors preferred
- ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATION.
Nice To Haves
- CNA, HHA, and DSP Certification preferred
- Dementia /ALZ care experience is a plus
- A compassionate, upbeat attitude and love for the senior community
Responsibilities
- Help keep clients’ home clean and clutter-free
- Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands
- Perform personal care assistance, including bathing and grooming
- Provide companionship and friendship for seniors and their loved ones
- Maintain communication between seniors, their family members, co-workers, and office staff
- Perform all non-medical home care services as needed
