About The Position
Visiting Angels of Chadds Ford is seeking compassionate Caregivers to service clients in and around the Lansdowne area. This role involves providing non-medical home care services to seniors, ensuring their homes are clean, assisting with daily tasks, and offering companionship.
Requirements
- Driver’s license, and reliable personal transportation
- Completed or ability to complete a 2-Step PPD or chest x-ray
- Clear background checks, and drug screening
- At least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience, working with seniors preferred
- A compassionate, upbeat attitude and love for the senior community
- ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATION.
Nice To Haves
- CNA, HHA, and DSP Certification preferred
- Dementia /ALZ care experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Help keep clients’ home clean and clutter-free
- Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands
- Perform personal care assistance, including bathing and grooming
- Companionship and friendship for seniors and their loved ones
- Maintain communication between seniors, their family members, co-workers, and office staff
- Perform all non-medical home care services as needed
