About The Position

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to serve as the liaison between the customer community and the technical development team. The role is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing the business needs of project stakeholders, including customers and end users. The successful candidate works closely with business units, subject matter experts, and technical resources to identify business needs, define projects, develop requirements, and manage development efforts through completion.

Requirements

Typically requires a university degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Elicit requirements through interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
Define and document internal and external user interfaces, and support clarification and definition of system and data requirements.
Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and break down high-level information into detailed requirements.
Work with functional leads to transform and develop new requirements into design and implementation.
Create and maintain workflows, approval processes, and validation rules based on internal stakeholder requirements.
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
Assist in quality assurance and define testing strategy and risks.
