About the position
The Hightouch team is seeking a backend engineer to lead development for their Audiences team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both backend schema and API design, as well as creating intuitive components in the frontend. They will work closely with customers and customer-facing teams to build impactful features, mentor less experienced teammates, and collaborate with design, product managers, and solutions engineers to build polished and intuitive features. The compensation for this position ranges from $170,000 to $240,000 USD per year.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship core features to the Hightouch platform
- Review code changes and design specs from teammates
- Work closely with customers and customer facing teams to build impactful features
- Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced teammates looking to expand their full stack knowledge
- Work closely with design, product managers, and solutions engineers to understand problems that are new to the data engineering space and build polished and intuitive features
- Building React components with Javascript / Typescript
- Designing APIs and database schemas
- Executing features from concept to production
- A strong understanding of both backend schema and API design and creating intuitive components in the frontend. Full stack engineers have built features like Hightouch audiences, alerting, and our billing portal.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of both backend schema and API design and creating intuitive components in the frontend
- Experience building React components with Javascript/Typescript
- Ability to design APIs and database schemas
- Experience executing features from concept to production
