About The Position

The Senior Support Services Engineer supports enterprise audiovisual and unified communications initiatives, with primary responsibility for video conferencing enablement, conference-room AV/VC refresh projects, AV hardware firmware lifecycle management, and bi-annual preventive maintenance and remediation. The engineer works alongside the client’s AV Engineering team to deploy, configure, test, commission, upgrade, and maintain enterprise collaboration technologies, including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco collaboration systems, Q-SYS, Crestron, and related AV technologies. The position requires strong hands-on enterprise AV engineering experience and the ability to independently execute assigned project and lifecycle workstreams while collaborating with engineers, AV integrators, manufacturers, and other technology teams. This is a hands-on AV engineering and project delivery role, not an AV support, meeting support, or event technician position. The role is onsite Monday through Friday for eight hours per day, typically from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours may be adjusted based on client needs. The engineer executes video conferencing enablement and room refresh projects; coordinates AV firmware and software updates; conducts preventive maintenance, audits, and remediation; uses telemetry and analytics to improve room reliability; and contributes to engineering standards, documentation, and repeatable solutions. The role requires a high school diploma or GED. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Candidates must be able to meet the listed physical demands, pass a background screen and drug test, and reliably arrive at the designated start time. Diversified describes its work environment as collaborative and flexible and offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
