About The Position

As a Senior Associate, Supplier Management on Capital One’s Enterprise Service Management team, you will manage the holistic relationship between Capital One and key third parties to support a well-managed, adaptable supply chain. You will work with internal team members to establish and maintain relationships with business customers and assigned suppliers. The role supports cost, risk, and performance management efforts for third-party relationships and identifies strategic opportunities for growth and improved return on investment. Limited travel may be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in relationship management, supplier management, project management, or process management, or a combination of these.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree or military experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, operations management, or risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide problem-solving support and innovative ideas to internal customers.
• Identify opportunities to generate value, including savings, efficiencies, or revenue growth.
• Partner in negotiating contracts for a broad range of services for Capital One.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for third parties and manage effective governance between Capital One and assigned third parties.
• Partner with internal risk groups to help ensure third-party relationships comply with relevant policies and procedures.
• Monitor and ensure successful delivery against third-party contractual obligations.
• Ensure policy requirements are met for managed third-party relationships.
• Plan and lead periodic reviews and assessments of supplier relationships.
• Maintain awareness of the external marketplace as it relates to assigned suppliers and perform sourcing activities where appropriate.
