About The Position
This role involves working with young children in a child care setting. The Senior Assistant Teacher will be responsible for contributing to the educational environment and supporting the development of young children.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Prior experience working with young children in a child care setting.
Nice To Haves
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Education component/specialization preferred.
- Pursuit of a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education a plus.
- Experience working in a National Association for the Education of the Young Children (NAEYC) accredited childcare center a plus.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the NAEYC accreditation standards, NAEYC accreditation process, and Teaching Strategies Creative curriculum preferred.
