About The Position

Raytheon Digital ASIC & FPGA Product section is seeking an experienced ASIC/FPGA Design Engineer to support the development of advanced defense products and technologies. The role translates system-level requirements into FPGA, ASIC, module, and unit-level designs; develops digital architectures; and carries out implementation, analysis, integration, and verification activities. The engineer will perform laboratory-based testing and validation using knowledge of modern microprocessors, memory technologies, FPGAs, ASICs, and interface protocols to deliver high-reliability solutions for mission-critical applications. The selected candidate will define ASIC/FPGA requirements from system specifications, develop digital architectures, implement RTL designs, and perform timing, power, and functional analysis. They will integrate and verify FPGA modules in a lab environment using industry-standard simulation, emulation, and hardware test tools. The role involves working with cross-functional engineering teams, supporting design reviews and documentation, and following established development processes. This is an onsite role based in McKinney, Texas. U.S. citizenship and an active, existing DoD Secret security clearance are required after day one; the role also requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
