About The Position

BL Companies is seeking a Senior Architect to contribute to impactful projects and mentor junior architects in a supportive, collaborative environment. The role leads technical design and documentation across multiple projects and partners closely with Senior Project Managers and other disciplines to deliver architectural services to clients. It calls for strong project management, attention to detail, a proactive and collaborative mindset, and a commitment to mentoring staff. The position is based at the King of Prussia office, with opportunities to work in a hybrid environment.

Requirements

15+ years of experience in architectural production for commercial, retail, or industrial projects.
Proficiency in Revit.
Experience with construction documentation.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
A proactive mindset and ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

Professional registration (RA) is strongly preferred.
Experience with construction administration.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage technical design and production from concept through construction.
Coordinate and oversee project teams to deliver design solutions that meet client specifications, emphasizing detailing and constructability.
Serve as the technical authority and primary resource for project teams and clients.
Ensure quality assurance and control of construction documents, focusing on detail accuracy and buildability.
Mentor and support junior staff through hands-on guidance and technical training.
Contribute to a collaborative project environment and uphold BL Companies' values of accountability, proactivity, and integrity.
