About The Position

BL Companies is seeking a Senior Architect to contribute to impactful projects and mentor junior architects in a supportive, collaborative environment. The role leads the technical aspects of design and documentation across multiple projects, working closely with Senior Project Managers and other disciplines to deliver architectural services that meet client specifications. The Senior Architect manages technical design and production from concept through construction, with a focus on detail accuracy, constructability, and quality control. The position also serves as a technical resource for project teams and clients and supports junior staff through hands-on guidance and training. The expected salary range is $100,000 to $130,000 per year, excluding overtime and ESOP contributions; offers are based on experience, skills, and fit.

Requirements

15+ years of experience in architectural production for commercial, retail, or industrial projects.
Proficiency in Revit.
Experience with construction documentation.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
A proactive mindset and ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

Professional registration (RA) is strongly preferred.
Experience with construction administration.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage technical design and production from concept through construction.
Coordinate and oversee project teams to develop solutions that meet client specifications, emphasizing detailing and constructability.
Serve as the technical authority and primary resource for project teams and clients.
Conduct quality assurance and control of construction documents, focusing on accuracy and buildability.
