Senior Application Analyst, (Certified Epic Ambulatory Required)
About The Position
The Senior Application Analyst supports and maintains assigned services and systems within Northwestern Medicine Information Services. The role monitors and analyzes systems, plans upgrades, resolves production issues in accordance with Customer Service Level Agreements, and leads or executes assigned project tasks. The analyst contributes to quality assurance and systems development and delivery methodologies, integrates end-user requests with software functionality, and recommends application build and functionality changes to support system reliability. The role also provides diagnostic support across the assigned NMHC distributed system IS environment, participates in an on-call rotation, and creates and maintains technical documentation and architecture diagrams. The position reflects Northwestern Medicine’s mission, vision, and values and follows its Code of Ethics, Corporate Compliance Program, policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Five or more years of experience in the core discipline.
- Certified Epic Ambulatory required.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain assigned services and systems.
- Monitor and analyze systems and plan upgrades.
- Monitor the production issue queue and resolve issues while maintaining Customer Service Level Agreements.
- Lead and execute assigned project tasks.
- Adhere to and enhance quality assurance standards and systems development and delivery methodologies.
- Contribute to integrating end-user requests with software functionality.
- Analyze and recommend application build and functionality changes to ensure system reliability for current or future use.
- Provide diagnostic support for problem determination and solutions across the assigned NMHC distributed system IS environment.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
