About The Position

The Senior Analyst, Strategic Analytics creates new, defensible ways to answer important business questions. The role turns ambiguous questions into analytical methods, working models, and clear recommendations, then makes successful approaches repeatable, scalable, and useful in leadership decisions. The analyst builds decision-ready capabilities for questions existing reports and models cannot answer, improving leadership’s forward visibility into business drivers, risks, and opportunities. They establish the methods, data logic, models, reporting, controls, documentation, refresh processes, and ownership needed to make successful analyses durable. The role also simplifies and automates high-value workflows, creates reusable analytical methods, presents insights and recommendations to senior leaders, and advises colleagues on complex methodological questions while respecting established ownership.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in strategic, business, enterprise, commercial, operational, financial, or transformation analytics, including independent ownership of ambiguous analytical problems.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Advanced hands-on analytical skills, including Excel and proficiency in SQL and/or Python.
  • Experience working with CRM data, enterprise data warehouses, business data models, and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and disciplined analytical thinking, including the ability to develop hypotheses, connect disparate evidence, challenge conventional answers, and devise practical approaches to unfamiliar business questions.
  • Strong business judgment and communication skills, including the ability to connect operational, commercial, financial, and external evidence; translate complex analysis into clear insights and recommendations; maintain command of the message; and facilitate discussions with senior leaders.
  • Ability to balance rigor with business pace, work independently, distinguish evidence from assumptions, surface uncertainty and risk early, and take analytical capabilities through implementation and outcome measurement.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree, MBA, or technical graduate degree.
  • Experience in complex B2B, technology, services, distribution, sales-led, or enterprise-transformation environments.
  • Experience using AI and automation to improve analytical exploration, coding, modeling, validation, documentation, or repeatability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop decision-ready analytical capabilities for questions that existing reports and models cannot answer, from problem framing and hypothesis development through modeling, validation, recommendation, and implementation.
  • Develop measures, models, and leading indicators that identify business drivers, emerging risks, and opportunities across enterprise priorities.
  • Make successful analyses durable by establishing methodology, data logic, models, reporting, controls, documentation, refresh processes, and ongoing ownership.
  • Simplify high-value workflows, automate repeatable work, and create reusable methods to increase the speed and scalability of analytics.
  • Present clear insights and recommendations to senior leaders and advise colleagues on complex methodological questions while preserving established ownership.
  • Move analytical capabilities from initial idea through implementation and outcome measurement.
