About The Position

The Senior Analyst, Operations Analytics partners with senior business leaders to use data and analytics to inform decisions and improve operational performance and participant and client experiences. The role leads high-impact analytical work from defining the problem through developing insights and recommendations, then measuring results. It connects operational, client experience, digital, and other data to reveal business performance, emerging trends, risks, friction points, and opportunities. The analyst translates complex analysis into clear recommendations and executive-ready narratives, develops trusted metrics and measurement frameworks, and collaborates across Operations, Product, Technology, and Client Experience to influence strategy and outcomes. The role also helps shift Operations Analytics from retrospective reporting toward proactive decision support, while mentoring analysts and contributing to team standards and best practices. This position offers direct exposure to senior leaders and high-priority initiatives, ownership of meaningful business problems, and the opportunity to shape the Operations Analytics function. Vanguard’s majority-hybrid working model is designed to combine flexibility with in-person learning, collaboration, and connection.
