About The Position

Target Food Supply Chain (FSC) is evolving rapidly as we modernize how product flows through our Food Distribution Centers (FDCs) to serve guests with greater reliability, efficiency, and freshness. As network complexity increases across capacity planning, event execution, and systems enablement, Food and Beverage needs stronger integrated planning capabilities that improve visibility, clarify ownership, and reduce reactive decision-making. As a Senior Analyst, FDC PIM Ops, you will help lead the strategy, governance, and development of a unified Flow Calendar that integrates event planning, blackout planning, forecast visibility, and capacity risk into a single, integrated operating view for the FDC network. This role blends operational strategy, business process design, systems modernization, and cross-functional leadership. You will help build scalable planning routines, influence modernization priorities, and create governance frameworks that improve reliability, reduce variability, and support smarter decision-making across the network. Core responsibilities are outlined below. Duties may evolve based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Distribution Operations, Inventory Management, Planning, Program Management, Product partnership, or related field.
  • Understanding of Food Distribution Center operations, capacity planning, network flow, and cross-functional supply chain decision-making.
  • Experience preferred in building scalable systems, governance models, standard work, or planning routines.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Analytics, or technical teams to translate business needs into usable tools, reporting, and operational capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect operational signals, planning inputs, and system opportunities into practical business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and leadership levels while operating effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, defining ownership, and building structure in spaces where responsibilities, processes, and decision rights are still emerging.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a critical capability to develop a Flow Calendar concept and integrate planning into a single network view across Food Distribution Centers.
  • Lead the evolution of the calendar from a visibility tool into an actionable planning capability that enables proactive event movement, flow smoothing, and earlier identification of network constraints.
  • Establish clear roles and responsibilities, define RACIs, and drive accountability standards to support pre-event planning routines.
  • Identify and elevate capacity, throughput, and overlap risks earlier in the planning cycle by integrating event timing, forecast signals, site constraints, and major business initiatives into decision-making routines.
  • Build and sustain a robust management system including standard work, documented SOPs, operating cadences, and scalable routines to ensure continuity and effectiveness.
  • Partner with F&B Modernization Director to modernize replenishment capabilities and translate operational needs into scalable systems, tools, and decision-support solutions.
  • Support the transition from discovery-heavy modernization work into solution validation, rollout support, pilots, adoption, and business integration.
  • Identify and develop tools that supplement calendar governance, capacity planning routines, and network risk visibility, reducing dependence on historical knowledge and manual coordination.
  • Serve as a central connector across S&OE, Planning Inventory Management, S&OP, FDC Operations, Transportation, Product, Technology, and other supply chain partners to align planning inputs and execution decisions.
  • Strengthen enterprise alignment by ensuring Flow Calendar governance supports the broader Food Supply Chain operating model.
  • Build trusted partnerships that enable earlier engagement, stronger planning discipline, and clear accountability as systems and processes move from concept to execution.
