About The Position
The Senior EDI Business Systems Analyst reports to the Director, Enterprise Systems and works with business teams and the IT department to identify and implement EDI solutions that enable and support business operations. The role supports business applications and processes, assists with system configuration and testing, and helps define and document improvements. It also works collaboratively with analysts, developers, and business users to develop effective IT solutions and business processes. This is a hybrid role based out of Downers Grove, Illinois.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 5 years of EDI experience required.
- Ability to communicate thoughts clearly and concisely to business users and developers through written or oral correspondence, presentations, and meetings.
Nice To Haves
- Ecommerce experience is a plus.
- Oracle ERP experience is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Provide business-user support by helping troubleshoot business application or business-process issues.
- Assist other business analysts and developers in determining innovative solutions to meet business needs.
- Provide assistance with application configurations and controls.
- Help business users execute test scripts for system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Assist business users in defining and documenting requirements for system improvements.
- Develop positive customer relationships to influence positive change and contribute to collaboration in defining and implementing IT solutions.
- Work with other analysts to provide operational consulting to business groups on using their systems to support effective business processes.
