About The Position

The Senior AI Product Manager – Government Pricing & Compliance is the product owner and hands-on AI builder for technology supporting GSK’s US government price calculations, filings, restatements, and audit trails. The role partners with Government Pricing, Market Access, and Compliance teams to understand existing calculations, filings, contract and trade operations, chargebacks, rebate payments, disputes, and restatements, and to identify where AI and agentic technology can improve accuracy, system optimization, cycle time, and compliance risk. The position owns delivery end to end, from discovery and build through evaluation, production deployment, and ongoing performance management. Working at the intersection of product, engineering, and regulated pricing operations, the role makes feasibility and build-versus-buy decisions and defines success criteria for non-deterministic AI systems in a SOX-controlled environment. It moves solutions from proof of concept to governed, monitored production use, with human review where appropriate. Success is measured through adoption and quantified impact on filing accuracy, exception volumes, cycle time, dispute outcomes, and audit readiness. The role is hybrid and based in the United States, with on-site work part of the week and remote work the remainder. Collaboration across time zones and functions is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or Finance.
  • 8+ years of combined product management and technical experience.
  • Experience delivering AI/ML solutions using agentic frameworks, LLMs, or automated compliance workflows.
  • Experience with US government pricing and rebate programs, including MDRP (AMP, Best Price, and unit rebate amount calculations), Medicare ASP, 340B, and VA/FSS (including Non-FAMP and Federal Ceiling Prices).
  • Experience with SOX financial controls, internal audit processes, and audit-readiness standards for pricing systems.
  • Experience with enterprise government pricing or revenue management platforms, such as Model N or equivalent, and integrations with ERP, contract management, and chargeback or rebate systems.
  • Experience writing product specifications, prototyping AI workflows, and analyzing large transactional sales and pricing datasets using SQL and Python.
  • Experience applying data quality, lineage, and master data governance practices.
  • Experience with agile delivery and stakeholder management, including backlog ownership, user story and acceptance criteria definition, and release planning with engineering and data teams.
  • Ability to translate regulatory and finance requirements into specifications for senior Finance, Legal, and Compliance stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience deploying agentic AI frameworks or LLM-powered tools in a regulatory, compliance, or financial reporting context, including AI or model risk governance such as model validation, explainability, and human-in-the-loop control design.
  • Prior forward deployment, AI implementation, or technical product experience at a pharma, biopharma, or enterprise AI company, including implementing or validating systems in a SOX or government-pricing-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end AI product roadmap for government pricing and compliance, prioritizing capabilities that improve filing accuracy, reduce compliance risk, and automate manual workflows.
  • Define and monitor KPIs for filing accuracy, exception volumes, cycle time, and compliance SLA performance.
  • Define and own the government pricing technology strategy, roadmap, SLAs, and integrations across ERP, contract management, chargeback, and rebate platforms.
  • Partner with revenue cycle technology teams to enable seamless data exchange and knowledge sharing.
  • Establish governance for regulated AI use cases, including model validation and documentation, explainability, human-in-the-loop review and approval gates, and bias and drift monitoring aligned with GSK responsible-AI policy.
  • Own governance of government pricing inputs, including class-of-trade and customer-eligibility classification, product and pricing master data, transactional data lineage, and documented calculation assumptions.
  • Assess technology impacts of regulatory changes under MDRP (AMP and Best Price), Medicare ASP, 340B, VA/FSS (including TRICARE), and state reporting; translate changes into product requirements and roadmap priorities with Government Pricing, Market Access, and Compliance.
  • Ensure technology supports on-time, accurate submissions with full audit trails and reliable restatements, including retroactive AMP and Best Price recalculations, prior-period adjustment tracking, downstream rebate, 340B refund, and TRICARE impacts, and defensible version history of every stated or restated submission.
  • Maintain audit readiness of government pricing technology controls, including SOX alignment, documented change control and testing evidence, segregation of duties and access reviews, and regular risk reviews with Legal, Compliance, and Internal Audit.
  • Support government inquiries, audit requests, and price dispute resolution.
  • Drive adoption by training Government Pricing, Finance, and Compliance users on AI-enabled workflows, maintaining process and control documentation, and capturing feedback to inform product improvements.
  • Own product delivery from discovery and build through evaluation, production deployment, and ongoing performance management.
  • Make feasibility and build-versus-buy decisions and move AI solutions from proof of concept into governed, monitored production use with human review where appropriate.
