About The Position

LMI is seeking a senior artificial intelligence and Agile transformation expert to guide PMOD’s AI strategy and adoption and lead scaled Agile delivery efforts. The role advises PMOD leadership, program teams, and stakeholders across CBP on AI opportunities, capabilities, limitations, risks, governance, and responsible implementation. It supports the design and implementation of government AI solutions from requirements and architecture through piloting, evaluation, scaling, and sustainment, while coordinating with relevant CBP offices and monitoring applicable federal, DHS, and CBP guidance. The position also leads Agile transformation and scaled delivery for complex technology programs and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include establishing or restructuring Agile Release Trains (ARTs), facilitating Program Increment (PI) Planning and other scaled ceremonies, coaching Agile roles and stakeholders, managing dependencies and delivery risks, and applying delivery metrics and lifecycle-management tools to improve predictability and performance. The role promotes integration with DevSecOps, automated testing, CI/CD, cybersecurity, and quality engineering, and supports value-stream identification, organizational readiness, and change management. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, though equivalent relevant experience may be considered. Candidates need at least eight years of relevant delivery experience and three years in an RTE or equivalent scaled Agile leadership role, along with SAFe RTE certification and SAFe Agilist certification or equivalent knowledge.
