Sr Advisory Solution Consultant - Identity Security
About The Position
ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Advisory Solutions Consultant to join its Identity Security Center of Excellence. The role focuses on helping large enterprises address complex security environments, fragmented identity ecosystems, and AI-related security challenges. It combines cybersecurity, identity, enterprise architecture, and consultative solution selling, with identity security as the central focus. The consultant advises enterprise customers and security leaders, develops solution strategies tied to business outcomes, and leads technical discovery, architecture discussions, executive workshops, presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-value engagements. The role provides expertise across identity security, identity governance and administration (IGA), identity and access management (IAM), and security operations, including ServiceNow’s security portfolio and technologies from Veza and Armis. The consultant also advises on security and governance challenges involving AI agents, non-human identities, and autonomous systems; advances strategic enterprise opportunities in collaboration with account teams, product, and engineering; and contributes reusable architectures, demonstrations, enablement, and field best practices. The position includes mentoring field Solutions Consultants and sharing customer and market insights to influence product and solution strategy.
Requirements
- Deep experience in identity security, including IAM, IGA, and privileged access, with identity as the primary focus within enterprise cybersecurity.
- Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, access governance, entitlement management, and least-privilege principles.
- Subject matter expertise in identity security architectures for large, complex enterprises.
- Ability to discuss identity platforms, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and modern security architectures with identity teams, enterprise architects, and business leaders.
- Understanding of emerging security challenges involving AI agents, machine identities, and non-human access.
- Ability to connect complex technical capabilities to meaningful security and business outcomes.
- Proven track record selling identity security solutions to large enterprises in a presales, solution consulting, security architecture, or technical advisory role, including shaping and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Confidence presenting to and advising enterprise security and IT leaders, including CISOs and CIOs, identity teams, and enterprise architecture groups.
- Ability to frame identity security in terms of business risk and outcomes.
- Ability to lead complex technical conversations, challenge conventional thinking, and influence architectural decisions.
- Strong presentation, storytelling, and solution demonstration skills.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across sales, engineering, product, and customer teams.
Nice To Haves
- Experience selling, implementing, or competing against Veza, SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, Okta, Microsoft Entra, or comparable security and identity platforms.
- Understanding of identity security posture management, identity threat detection, cyber asset visibility, and exposure management.
- Strong familiarity with cloud-native environments, Zero Trust architectures, and modern enterprise security frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, integrations, scripting, or solution prototyping.
- A strong point of view on how AI will reshape identity security and enterprise cybersecurity.
- Curiosity about emerging technologies and ability to turn innovative ideas into practical customer solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with enterprise customers, CISOs, security architects, and identity leaders to understand security challenges, business priorities, and transformation initiatives.
- Translate complex security requirements into solution strategies and measurable business outcomes.
- Lead technical discovery, architectural discussions, executive workshops, and strategic solution engagements.
- Provide technical expertise across Identity Security, IGA, IAM, and security operations.
- Help customers understand and realize the value of ServiceNow’s security portfolio, including Veza and Armis.
- Architect solutions for identity visibility, access intelligence, least-privilege enforcement, cyber exposure, and security risk reduction.
- Demonstrate how integrated security capabilities can reduce silos and improve security posture.
- Advise customers on identity and security challenges involving AI agents, non-human identities, and autonomous systems.
- Explore approaches to AI agent discovery, identity lifecycle management, permissions, governance, and access control.
- Help organizations establish security and governance frameworks as they scale AI adoption.
- Collaborate with account teams, solution consulting leadership, product management, and engineering to advance complex enterprise opportunities.
- Lead technical presentations, solution demonstrations, architecture workshops, and proof-of-value engagements.
- Articulate technical value and competitive positioning in enterprise environments.
- Serve as a technical escalation point and subject matter expert for strategic customer engagements.
- Contribute reusable solution architectures, technical enablement, demonstrations, and field best practices.
- Mentor and enable field Solutions Consultants on security and identity technologies.
- Share customer and market insights with product and engineering teams to influence innovation and solution strategy.
