Reporting to the Senior Manager, JCC Strategic Initiatives & Operations the Senior Admin Assistant, JCC Strategic Initiatives & Operations Team is responsible for providing administrative support to the JCC Meeting Operations Team and its aligned activities, initiatives, projects and working groups. As the key individual supporting the coordination of the team’s workflow and communications, the Senior Admin Assistant must have excellent organizational and communication skills to proactively assist the team to meet deadlines, anticipate challenges, and find ways to address them. The position requires strong organizational and proactive administrative skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. The Senior Admin Assistant is expected to have excellent oral and written communication skills as they will be responsible for composing correspondence. This role requires someone who possesses outstanding attention to detail, maintains confidentiality, and professionalism while communicating with leadership and committee members. The individual will have excellent facilitation and agenda planning skills in order to manage team meetings. Initiative and strong interpersonal skills are required in working collaboratively with Ministry of Health executives, Physician Leads and leadership from across the organization. Due to the nature of the Team’s work and the variety of work that may be assigned to the Senior Admin Assistant, diplomacy, attention to detail, and a strong knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products and the Zoom application are essential. This is a 12-month contract role with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position.
