About The Position

Expected Results: Assist the Finance Controller in maintaining accurate records to conform to Internal Control standards. Develop as an active support to Management Team in analysing business performance of 3 production units and maximizing company’s profitability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance.
  • 3-5 years relevant cost accounting / financial control experience.
  • Exposure to financial management and internal control in manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with a modern ERP system (SAP, Oracle…).
  • Self- starter in need of little direction.
  • Confident communicator with an ability to collaborate with a team/build strong relationships.
  • Able to work in deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent analytical ability
  • Strong ability to focus on cost management.
  • Continuous improvement oriented/
  • Experience working ln LEAN manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Cash, fixed assets, other assets and liabilities
  • Ensure highest levels of consistency and accuracy in Company’s financial communication and be able to identify and resolve reconciling items.
  • Working capital management: work jointly with the Finance Team to report on reduction initiatives (A/P payment term conditions, optimized internal flows, inventory reporting…).
  • Active involvement in application of solid internal control processes (Group authorization and business process rules, risk assessments, internal audits…).
  • Assist the Finance Controller in maintaining reporting schedules and controlling tools as part of company’s integration within scope of a new shareholder.
  • Manage cost accounting system, maintain accurate costing information, and effectively deliver inventory reports / analysis.
  • Develop a sound and extensive understanding of Company’s industrial activities in order to display value-added analysis at the attention of Finance Director and Management Team.
  • Participate in building an efficient cost-control environment and advanced analytical view on industrial performance (product costing, KPI’s…).
  • Assist the Finance Controller to monitor the execution of budget/forecasts/business plans; recommend and contribute to implement countermeasures to offset identified variances.
  • Act as a strong team player and provide general support to the progressive strengthening of Finance/Accounting team.
