About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic Insurance team in South Barrington, IL. This role involves serving as the primary day-to-day client contact, managing client service needs, and presenting custom solutions to clients and prospects. The Senior Account Manager will communicate client needs to the account management team and coordinate various client services, including claims reviews, insurance training, kick-off meetings, stewardship meetings, and renewal strategy meetings. A key aspect of the role is analyzing client risk profiles, developing marketing strategies, and meticulously analyzing all client documents to recommend improvements. Cultivating local carrier relationships is also important for enhancing company visibility and credibility in the construction insurance marketplace. The position requires participation in off-site meetings, conducting research, assisting with training, and processing complex endorsements, subcontractor certificates, policy audits, and more. Additionally, the role involves managing invoice collections, premium finance quotes, certificate checklists, and analyzing experience modifications. Binding insurance coverages, addressing binding subjectivities, and converting proposals to summaries of insurance post-binding are also core duties. The Senior Account Manager will conduct in-depth data analyses and maintain ongoing communication with clients and industry partners to ensure high customer service levels. Backup for team members and maintaining insurance license & CE requirements are also expected.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary day-to-day client contact
  • Manage client service needs
  • Present custom solutions to clients and prospects in a clear and professional manner
  • Communicate client needs to account management team and coordinate client services, including but not limited to: Claims reviews, Insurance training, Kick of meetings, Stewardship meetings, Renewal strategy meetings
  • Analyze client risk profile and develop marketing strategy with team and client
  • Analyze all client documents (including quotes, binders, policies, endorsements), recommending changes or amendments for improvement
  • Cultivate local carrier relationships to support company visibility and credibility in the construction insurance marketplace
  • Participate in off-site carrier, client, and prospect meetings as required
  • Conduct research, compiles information into presentation format
  • Assist with training and overseeing Account Associates
  • Review, analyze, process and follow-up with clients regarding: Complex endorsements, Subcontractor certificate/endorsements, Policy audits, Notices of cancellation, Invoice collections, Unit stat cards, Final renewal letter request, Final proposal of insurance, Renewal exposure, Coverage quotes, Proposals of insurance, Premium finance quotes and agreements, Certificate checklist and special account handling instructions, Client claim reviews, Fee agreements, Premium allocations, Experience modification analysis and projections
  • Bind insurance coverages, address binding subjectivities, and convert proposals of insurance to summaries of insurance post binding
  • Conduct in-depth data analyses (Exposures, losses, premiums, rates, collateral, mod, deductible levels)
  • Identify key individuals within the client's organization and build and maintain effective and sustainable relationships
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients and industry partners to ensure a high-level of customer service.
  • Provide backup for other team members during their absence
  • Maintain insurance license & CE requirements
