About The Position

The Senior Account Manager, Business Services is responsible for managing a complex portfolio of high-value commercial relationships, providing tailored lending solutions and strategic financial advice to business members. Acting as a trusted advisor, this role focuses on building long-term partnerships, supporting business growth, and ensuring sound credit and risk management practices. As a senior member of the team, the role also contributes to departmental strategy and provides mentorship to colleagues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or a College Diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in business lending, relationship management, or commercial banking within the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated success delivering strong member service and supporting business growth through financial solutions.
  • Strong relationship management and business development skills with a member-focused mindset.
  • Solid financial acumen, including the ability to analyze financial statements and structure complex lending solutions.
  • Sound judgment and risk assessment capabilities in commercial lending.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to compliance, confidentiality, and professional integrity.
  • Candidates must be bondable under a fidelity bond policy (includes a criminal and credit check).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of complex commercial lending relationships, delivering exceptional service and proactive financial advice.
  • Assess, structure, and negotiate credit solutions, including loans, lines of credit, and other business products.
  • Monitor and manage credit risk through ongoing portfolio oversight, reviews, and adherence to lending policies.
  • Identify business development opportunities, cultivate new relationships, and expand the member base.
  • Resolve member concerns professionally while maintaining strong, trust-based relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
  • Mentor and support team members, contributing to a strong, collaborative team environment.
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives, planning, and continuous improvement efforts.
