We are seeking an experienced Salesperson to join our growing team in Dallas, Texas, and take the next step in their career. This role involves charting sales direction for the southern US, identifying new business opportunities, mentoring team members, and nurturing established business relationships. The successful applicant will be expected to set a high standard for the Dallas sales team in acquiring new business. This position offers the chance to leverage your proven experience and advance your career with the support of a major global chemical distributor. Expertise in the chemical, ingredients, and raw materials industry is required, covering product ranges such as Food and Beverage, Personal Care, Oilfield Chemicals, Agricultural Feeds & Fertilizers, Water Treatment, Surface Coatings, Building and Construction, Plastics, Rubbers, and Foams. Reporting to the Branch Sales Manager, this strategic role focuses on developing business with new and existing customers in the South and identifying new products for the US market portfolio.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years + sales experience within the Personal Care, Oilfield, Industrial chemical, Food Ingredients and/or Agricultural distribution industry.
  • Experience in identifying, researching, and presenting new technologies and market opportunities is highly regarded
  • A natural communicator with a demeanor to rally a group around you for an objective
  • Self-motivated, passionate about sales and an ability to work in a diverse culture environment
  • Ability to manage and maintain close relationships with senior management and other business units within the organization, suppliers, manufacturers, logistic services and present/future customers.
  • Offer expertise, knowledge and experience within the chemical, ingredients and raw materials industry, providing knowledge within our product range.

Responsibilities

  • Charting sales direction for the next 5 years within the southern States
  • Finding new business opportunities
  • Guiding other team members
  • Building on established business relationships in the region
  • Setting the Gold Standard for the Dallas sales team in bringing in new business
  • Developing business via new and existing customers in the South
  • Identifying new products to bring to market in our portfolio across the USA
