About The Position

Cummings Electrical is hiring a Senior Project Manager in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX. The Senior Project Manager will lead a team of service electricians, overseeing, guiding, and managing the work of contractors, vendors, suppliers, and employees. Responsibilities include efficient coordination and planning to ensure the team provides consistent, high-quality, cost-effective, and timely deliverables and products for multiple projects. This person will ensure that workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for promoting environmental stewardship and a work culture focused on health and safety. This position will also work closely with the company’s management team in a decision-support capacity.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years or more years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical construction industry
  • Must be capable of leading a team of up to 20 electricians
  • Experience with Electrical / Power Systems such as UPS, Switchgear, Generators, PDU's
  • Customer Service Driven
  • Computer Savvy (Microsoft Suite, MS Project, etc.)
  • Solid Communicator – excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and application of relevant safety requirements that apply to the specific work being done
  • Proven and successful track record of producing work that is highly accurate, demonstrates attention to detail and reflects well on the organization
  • Personally committed to high quality work and encourages others to have similar standards

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering or related field is preferred or previous work as Licensed Electrician/Supervisor
  • Managing Projects for Electrical installation of Equipment for high profile projects is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of service electricians
