About The Position

Cummings Electrical is hiring a Senior Project Manager in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX. The Senior Project Manager will lead a team of service electricians, overseeing, guiding, and managing the work of contractors, vendors, suppliers, and employees. Responsibilities include efficient coordination and planning to ensure the team provides consistent, high-quality, cost-effective, and timely deliverables and products for multiple projects. This person will ensure that workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for promoting environmental stewardship and a work culture focused on health and safety. This position will also work closely with the company’s management team in a decision-support capacity.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years or more years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical construction industry
Must be capable of leading a team of up to 20 electricians
Experience with Electrical / Power Systems such as UPS, Switchgear, Generators, PDU's
Customer Service Driven
Computer Savvy (Microsoft Suite, MS Project, etc.)
Solid Communicator – excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge and application of relevant safety requirements that apply to the specific work being done
Proven and successful track record of producing work that is highly accurate, demonstrates attention to detail and reflects well on the organization
Personally committed to high quality work and encourages others to have similar standards

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering or related field is preferred or previous work as Licensed Electrician/Supervisor
Managing Projects for Electrical installation of Equipment for high profile projects is a plus

Responsibilities

Lead a team of service electricians
Oversee, guide, and manage the work of contractors, vendors, suppliers and employees
Ensure efficient coordination and planning to provide consistent, high-quality, cost-effective, and timely deliverables and products for multiple projects
Ensure that workplace health and safety requirements are met
