Requirements

  • 2-3 years in a management/leadership role
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational and customer service skills
  • Committed to continuous learning to maintain up-to-date knowledge of rules, laws and regulations
  • Ability to acquire knowledge of operating various computer functions and Property Management Software Systems
  • Valid driver license and any other licenses/certifications required by the state

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the daily operations of multiple residential communities.
  • Ensures on-site teams are motivated, well-trained, and aligned with company standards.
  • Plays a key role in maintaining resident satisfaction, driving financial performance, and supporting property teams through hands-on guidance, strategic oversight, and operational flexibility.
  • Serves as a key liaison with the Kansas City corporate team, supporting initiatives from Marketing, Software & Education, and Human Resources.
  • Partners closely with the Regional Manager to support properties in the Dallas metro area, offering hands-on assistance and strategic guidance to drive performance and consistency across locations.
  • Supervise and support on-site teams, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and budgetary guidelines.
  • Maintain strong resident relations through effective communication, engagement, and timely issue resolution.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to uphold standards for safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform strategic decisions.
  • Provide coverage and leadership across multiple property locations as needed.
  • Manage vendor relationships, oversee contracted work, and ensure timely apartment turnovers.
  • Support outreach marketing, social media efforts, and reputation management initiatives.
  • Respond to emergencies and ensure proper documentation and communication with senior management.
