Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience
  • Experience and demonstrated success in managing and closing sales within technical or complex product fields.
  • Identify and engage new customers while gaining access to key decision makers.
  • Work across multiple business functions and, when applicable, with channel partners to achieve sales objectives.
  • Negotiate large-scale deals with both C-suite executives and mid-level management.
  • Manage complex sales cycles and effectively coordinate internal and external resources to drive execution.
  • Capable of identifying a healthy pipeline of prospects and building comprehensive strategies to convert them into customers.

  • Experience in Manufacturing strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a defined U.S. territory covering Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico, with a strong preference for candidates based in the greater Dallas area or near Houston or Austin.
  • Report directly to the Western Americas Sales Manager, playing a key role in driving business growth across the territory.
  • Generate new business by selling directly to end users, converters, and through our distributor network, while also managing and expanding an established portfolio of accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans, build strong customer relationships, and deliver accurate forecasting to support business objectives.
  • Focus heavily on new business development, maximizing sales volume while maintaining target profit margins.
  • Leverage a critical competitive advantage by effectively promoting both water‑based and solvent‑based product lines to meet diverse customer needs.
  • Travel approximately 50% of the time within the region, using a mix of car and commercial air travel to support customer and business needs.
